Refugee Awareness Blog Train


"Refugee Week is about raising people's awareness of who a refugee is, about breaking the prejudice barrier and removing the negative image that refugees have."

For this blog train organised by Angela , she has not designated the colour combination because as she explained, the refugees come from very different backgrounds, so we can be as diverse in our designs as possible. After thinking about what colours to use for the longest time, I picked my colours from the Refugee Week logo.

In my search for some inspiration for my contribution both on the refugee week site and the www, I came across this quote by Maya Angelou, which I thought goes well with the theme for this blog train.
"The ache for home lives in all of us,
the safe place where we can go as we are, and not be questioned"
